My mission is to provide your dog with a safe space to learn and rehabilitate. All board & train programmes are personal to you and your goals with your dog and will be discussed in detail prior to your dog arriving. In most cases, an initial consultation will be required in order to decide if a board & train programme is the best option for you and your dog.
We are licensed via the East Riding of Yorkshire council licensing team for a maximum of 6 dogs.

The priority will be on the behavioural concerns you're facing while ensuring your dog is well-trained and responsive in everyday situations

You are required to provide your dog’s usual food for the duration of their stay. Alternatively, we can supply food at an additional cost if preferred. For training stays, we use your dog’s regular daily food as part of their routine. If your dog is raw fed, we will require a portion of their diet to be supplemented with dry food, which you will need to provide. Please discuss any dietary requirements, sensitivities, or restrictions with us in advance. In some cases, we may recommend an alternative food if we believe it would better support your dog’s health, training, or overall well-being.
You will need to provide a blanket from home and a favourite toy, but please no large beds as all soft items must be machine washable. Please also bring all equipment needed for walking including an ID tag attached to their collar with your details (this is a legal requirement and failure to do so may result in reduced exercise due to legal restrictions on taking your dog out in public) and a coat if needed.
All equipment must be well fitting, without a risk of the dog slipping out or causing them harm. You will be required to provide training tools necessary for your dogs training and if likely to be destructive, please bring their crate from home for their stay.
All booking dates will be held on receipt of a £100 non refundable booking, deposit. This amount will be taken off your final invoice and is transferrable if more than 4 weeks notice is given.
Full invoice payment is due at the end of the calendar month prior to the booking period.
if we are arranging food for your dog, this will be invoiced at the end of your dogs stay and due no later than 48 hours after their departure date. If any additional costs have been incurred during your dog's stay, you will be notified as soon as possible and an invoice issued as above.
You must fill in all paperwork and provide a copy of your dogs vaccination records prior to services commencing.
No, whilst I understand it is hard being separated from your dog, visiting them during programmes causes them unnecessary stress and is not productive to the outcomes of the programme.
Following an assessment period and depending on their goals and reasons for training, yes. In most cases, your dog will be exercised with resident and other kennel dogs (with your permission).
Yes, just please make sure I am aware that you will be away and that you have nominated an approved emergency contact in your absence who could in an emergency, collect your dog.
This depends entirely on your dog and their temperament and your goals for them. In my experience, dogs that are crate trained and understand going into their crates for periods throughout the day, adapt best to the training and settle better than those that aren't. Please feel free to reach out if you're unsure.
The success of a board and train programme relied heavily on the work done when the dog returns home. On your handover day, we will spend a minimum of 3 hours together (longer can be booked via previous arrangement, this will be charged). All communication will be kept up via WhatsApp, a group will have been made for you and your family members to keep up to date with what your dog is learning while they're here. I expect and encourage updates, questions, videos (and cute pics) of your dog and the training that you are doing at home.
